The IIIE has instituted the following Honors and Awards for various achievements and outstanding contributions to the IE profession for members, non-members, chapters and other bodies. All Honors and Awards are conferred by the IIIE National Council at its National Convention.

• Honorary Membership
  - (Awarded to individual's professional achievements recognized nationally or internationally)
   
• Lillian Gilbreth Award
  - (Donated by Bombay Chapter - Awarded annually to the person making outstanding contribution to the profession of Industrial Engineering)
   
• H. K. Firodia Award
  - (Donated by Mr. H. K. Firodia, Past President - Cash Award of Rs. 2,000/- and a Medal and Certificate.
   
• Ramaswamy Cup
  - (Donated by Mr. S. S. Rangnekar - The Cup is awarded annually to the person making outstanding contribution to the institution)
   
• Krish Pennathur Shield
  - (Donated by Dr. K. Pennathur - The shield is awarded annually to the BEST CHAPTER of the year of its outstanding overall performance)
   
• R. S. Murthy Memorial Award
  - (Donated by Jamshedpur Chapter - Shield and replica will be brought at Bangalore Convention)
   
• H. N. Thadani Award
  - (Donated by Mr. H. N. Thadani, our Fellow member - A Roating Shield and its Replica)
   
• Dr. J M Mahajan Award
  
  (Donated by Dr. J.M.Mahajan ,Fellow Member of IIIE . It will be given to an Individual at the level of a Director of IIT / IIM, Director / Principal of Private / Public Engineering Colleges, Chairman of Private Engineering Colleges, Societies etc. Academician who has contributed substantially to the spread of Industrial Engineering and Management discipline in the field of Education
   

• Dr. S R Gollapudi Award

  (This award is donated by Dr. S.R.Gollapudi our Life Fellow Member. It will be given to an individual who has contributed substantially to the Industrial Engineering profession and or the Institution activities.)
   

• Coal India Award
  - (Donated by Coal India Limited - Two Gold Medals, one for organisation and another for an individual)
   
• Fellowship
  - (Awarded to the Members in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the profession and the Institution)
   
• S. P. Hatte Gold Medal
  - (Donated by Kerala (January) and Bombay (July) Chapters for January and July Graduateship Examinations for FIRST RANKS)
